Monday, Peepers and I headed up north to visit her Great Granma.
We were only about 15 minutes away, on a main highway, when I seen and airplane. It was flying fairly low to the ground so I assumed it was getting ready to land at the small local airport. But as we drove closer, it began to look a little stanger. For one, it was not your typical airplane....it looked more like a plane from the 40's or 50's.... you know, bigger wings fatter body style. THEN, all of a sudden it seemed to stop in mid air!!!
Well, here we are, driving down a fairly busy major high way, and I am trying to get a closer look at this plane. Making sure my eyes are not decieving me. I want to stop and take a picture, but this is not a good stretch of road to pull over on. I've actually slowed down considerably, just to keep looking. Peepers has fallen asleep in her carseat in the back, so I am only talking and thinking to myself of all the possibilites.
We eventually pass the area where the plane seems to be "suspended in time".....I keep looking back, until it was completely out of sight, to see if it is moving.....and NOPE, it never did.
Well we get to Great Granma's house, and she needs to go to town....on the way in, I look for it again.....and it's GONE! I try to explain to her what I had seen, all the while she is trying to logically make suggestions of what it really could have been....
BUT, I KNOW for a fact that it was actually flying up to the point it stopped! And it was fairly close to the ground! So I KNOW it was NOT some oversized big balloon or HUGE remote play plane!!!
I NEVER KNEW there was a plane out there that could actually "hover" in one place and not move!!!! An older looking model even!
And of course, it seems as if I am the "only" person in that entire area that seems to have seen this phenonmen!
So NOW...I feel like I'm in "The TWILIGHT ZONE"
Oh and just for the record....this is not the first time...something like this has happened to me...some occurances happened when I was about 13-14 years old....and I was NOT the only person to hear, whatever it was, back then! Several, and I mean Serveral, other people, (of all ages) heard strange, unexplainable sounds one night....
AND NO, I am not on any other kind of new medication! AND I have NO history of mental disorders!
I just wish NOW I would have pulled over and taken a picture!!!
Advice for the day.... GET PICTURES!!!!!!

That's why I always carry a camera in my purse. You just never know what you are going to see:)
You're giving me goose bumps! I too carry my camera everywhere, plus my cell phone camera.
Yikes - that kind of gives me the creeps. I'm more of a need-everything-explained kind of gal, and not so happy with unexplained weird phenomena!
I have started taking my camera most places now because I have missed some good shots.
