The Wedding....

First the Rehearsal and Rehearsal Dinner.....Rehearsal went smoothly...our Pastor is GREAT at EVERYTHING he does! That is the "key" to flawless Rehearsals. Rehearsal Dinner....I actually coerced the "EX" (Grooms mother) (Remember, I AM THE STEPMOTHER) to sit at "OUR" table....and I sat next to her! Of course she was extremely friendly, it was really nice! I have nothing against her whatsoever...it is only on her level that she seems to have a problem with me, which she should'nt...Maybe, Hopefully that has all changed since she has recently re-married! She even cornered The Rock (her ex, my husband) and told him they should be getting along! DUH!!! I thought that is what we were doing for the past 8 years! Altogether is was a pleasant evening! The best part was the GIFT that the Bride and Groom gave to all of the parents....using everyones last name, they made this for us.....We LOVE IT!!!! Kind of gives away our last name...huh...but had to share!!

The Wedding

BEAUTIFUL DAY !! The Ceremony was Perfection! Thanks to Pastor! All of the music was done by the Brides brother and his Team-New Dawn (New Dawn is an International Team sponsored by Youth Encounter. This group of young adults ministers throughout the United States, the Philippines, and Taiwan for fifteen months with a faith-encouraging program of music, testimonies, drama and puppetry to inspire people of all ages)...they played piano, guitar, bongo and sang~ it was Fantastic!

The Bride was beautiful in her dress...it actually feels like a cloud! Gorgeous! The pictures do not even come close to showing how Beautiful it is. and The Groom never looked more Handsome in his uniform....He has always been a good looking kid.

The Reception

I did not get a lot of pictures...I wish I had. The highlights were the Margarita Machine. The Photo Booth. (like in the Malls)Everyone made good use of this more than once...(Pleasing Procrastioner has pictures of these)And the Candy Bar....I will need to find someone with a picture of this...it was amazing...about 15-20 old time candy jars being continuously filled with different kinds of candy....Kids (and adults) were given little brown paper sacks to fill till their hearts content.....all day! Needless to say everyone was on a virtual sugar high! Each table had 2 bottles of Oliver's red wine....the best! The food was Delicious! The wedding cake was simple and beautiful....the bride had found a cake topper from the 1940's....it was perfect for them! Of course everyone did the slide and the hokey pokey and danced the night away! At the end of the evening the couple took off on "their Harley"...even in her wedding dress! The Photograher took tons of pictures....which we can hardly wait to see!!!

The Honeymoon!
