Rock informed me the night we brought him home that we would call him Bones! I cannot believe that someone would just dump him out along side of the road! After talking to the Sherriffs Dept and Animal Control, I'm learning that this kind of thing is happening more often now. That discovery is so Heartwrenching!
Bones is such a G O O D dog! But it's so easy to see in his actions, that he has been mistreated! He loves kids! And has showed no emotion to our cats! The parrot has freaked him out a couple of times. And while walking him around the yard outside, he discovered our chickens! Bones is definately a trained "bird dog"!
He has not barked once! He has made some crying noises. Rock said that when I went into town the other night that Bones was a nervous wreck till I returned.
Here in this house, the pets food bowls, are full of food constantly. Along with the dried food they get boiled eggs and maybe some boiled liver on weekends. So hopefully he will get some meat on those "BONES" Soon!

Hmmmm.........I think your animals are eating better then the kids..lol
I love that dog. How sweet is he? I think his name should be Lucky Bones;)
Bones is adorable! It just breaks my heart that so many jerks just dump an animal. It's so cruel and it's been happening here a lot too. I think there's a special place in Heaven for people like you & your hubby.
Bones is very fortunate to have such a loving home and hopefully he will understand it is forever!
You are a good mommy to Bones...or is his name Rock?
You feed your dogs hard boiled eggs? Can I ask why? Do they get gas that smells like hardboiled eggs?
bones is adorable and yes it is happening too often!
Welcome Home Bones! I love your name, I love you and I for sure love your new parents! God is good!
The names Bones is fitting for the poor little fellow. Or at least he was a poor little fellow till you came along. Heart of gold woman. It's a shame that this happens so often. From all I'm hearing now the economy is making it to where more and more people do this because they simply can't afford the feed. What a shame.
